Blessed Hammer - 20 (primary attack skill). The rest of the inventory slots can be filled with 3-4 15/70's and the rest should be 20 life, 5 resist small charms.4 Combat/Life Grand Charms (You should still reach 14k hammer dmg with only 4 Combat grand charms.) You can get up to 17k with 9 grand charms, but it's really just a waste of space when you could be getting much more life/resists.

preferably with the highest stats possible.preferably with +28-30 to All Resistances.any one handed weapon with low requirements Call to Arms.this is to buff call to arms battle orders and battle command.OR Herald of Zakarum, for the +2 Pally skills and +2 Combat skills try getting one with high fast-cast-rate (FCR), resistances (RES) and enhanced defense (ED).

Usually by the time I'm level 40 with a character I'm quite invested but with this Hammerdin I'm just like yaaaaawn. Not to mention I go through a belt of 12 mana pots after clearing like one level of an area. I'm level 42 and casting this one spell ad nauseum is just I don't know, not fun.

but the novelty for me has worn off extremely quickly. I get it, high magic damage and AoE, very simple build to follow, the hammers look cool. Want to see what all the craze is about and ok. But after playing on and off for 20 years I'm finally trying my first Paladin with the aim of making him an Smiter Ubers farmer when he reaches lvl 85, playing as Hammerdin along the way. Sorry Hdin fans, we've all got different opinions obviously.
